I tried searching yahoo and google but found nothing relative to my search. I deleted a folder that was to big for the recycling bin and it permanently deleted it. They were pictures of my daughter that I had thought I burned to a rw dvd. After I deleted the folder I then checked the disc, big mistake!

I am wondering if anyone know's if it is at all possible to bring the files back somehow? I know I've always read that you don't permanently delete files. Hell if they can find child porn on Michael Jacksons comp there has to be a way to get my daughter's pictures back?!

Any help is appreciated. Next time I will double check the burned cd/dvd.

Its funny cuz the last time I used a file recovery program was to recover some porn that I accidentally deleted when I was transferring it to another hard drive, LOL.

System restore does not recover deleted files. It only restores backed up windows settings.
