Doesn't the Redtop SR20DET use a different O2 Sensor then a blacktop? Now when you purchase a turbo elbow, do you have to make sure the O2 sensor bung is for the Redtop or Blacktop or what? Because from what I seen the turbo elbows seem to use only the fat type "black top" o2 sensor. So if you wanted to run a redtop ECU and O2 sensor, what would you do for the turbo elbow/o2 sensor?
Thanks :)
thread wise they are the same size, its only the sensor tip that is different size

"The early SRs have 12mm threads, the later ones have 18mm threads." is what I found

Depends on the elbow you get. If it's threaded for the fat o2 sensor and your running a skinny one you can order a adapter from Megan Racing for like $10.00. If you can weld you can grind off the bung for the fat o2 and take a open lugnut and weld it on. The thread pitch is the same. It's 12x1.25 so just weld it on and grind it down a little so the sensor can still stay in the exhaust stream to read accurately and there you go...:bigok:

Oh, try not to get the divorced pipe so you won't have steering rack clearance issues. Try to find the solid elbow.

Im running a 62 Ecu in my blacktop.. so I'm guessing the blacktop fat o2 doesnt work as well with it, and the skinny would be better to match the ECU? I might just get the E5 but I figured a 62 would be easier for tuning
Thanks for the help so far
