is it possibleto take out the trunk lock...

i was looking on ebay and i saw a silvia trunk lock.. to put this in i would need to take out the old one right?...  is the even possible?...how would i go about doing it.....?   just wondering cuz i wanna do the s13 sivia front end conversion soon.....i know i dont need it but i want it.

One it is possible to take the trunk lock out, cause mine is out as im typing, im replacing the cable with a brand new one. Two whats the point of changing the trunk lock? Three what does the trunk lock have to do with a s13 conversion unless you mean HOOD lock...

not really the lock but the whole thing...does it come out...

i dont mean the hood lock...

it really has nothing to do ith the front end conversion but i foud a guy who can sell me a set of parts for the conversion and included is the silvia trunk lock thing....i just has the S on it and it flips up to reveal the lock...
