Hellp me Identifying this turbo please ,suppost to be a garrett GT25

This turbo here that i got from a guy on ebay said it was a garrett GT25 ( dont start the crap blaming shit ) just tell me whatchu think . it doesnt say Garrett anywhere .

it's most definitly not a garrett! i don't know what else it could be, but it's not garrett product. made in china?

Looks like a knockoff. Install it, have fun with it until it blows up, then get a "real" turbo.

Looks like the stock sr exhaust section with a T28 center and a B compressor from a John Deer tracktor motor(could be wrong tho). Seen those type of hybrid t28's floating around for some time now. I had one 4 years ago on my daily and made 326whp with 18psi with supporting fuel mods and tuning. Do you know the specs so we can compare...I think I still have mine laying around somewhere.

this is what teh guy posted at auction . i think he copy and paste that info from another real garrett gt25
here This unit is 100% OEM Quaity. Specs: 60 trim 60 mm compressor, (.60 A/R hsg), w/ 60 trim 53mm GT25 turbine wheel in .60 A/R based (internal wastgated) T25 turbine hsg.
i searched ebay and the gt25 ebay ones dont look like this one

it looks like its for a DSM. other than that, no idea what it is.

Maybe put a size reference in the PIC, does he have one? Like a pcak of smokes. Compressor housing is not Garrett thats obvious..and damn that inlet is long as hell..

I second that. Judging by the round exhaust inlet and the elbow that seems to come from 2nd Gen Eclipse T28. The only thing is the compressor seems bigger.

http://pics.ebaystatic.com/aw/pics/s.gif Dude that is a Garrett. That turbo can support up to 650hp with a t3/t4 flange, for any dsm. Just because the name GARRETT isn't on it doesnt mean it is not. It is perfect working condition. And you'll have fun. Trust me!

i dunno bro, from what i know ALL garrett turbos say garrett on them. i could be wrong though.:ugh:

doesn't look like a t3 flange, it is to square. some of the toyota turbos also had a round inlet on the exhaust. I just sold a ct26 that had a mount that looked just like that but that is no ct26 and it is not garrett either. All genuine Garrett turbos wil have Garrett casted into the compressor housing

Even the compressor housing off of a John Deer tracktor will say garrett.
