Is that the JDM engine?

If it was a USDM engine Id give my SR20DET S14 Zenki for it, considering I could pass inspection, but if its not then good luck!

kawboy, do u guys have emissions inspection? if so then u wouldnt pass even if this was a usdm motor ;] thx for lookin, someone please offer a trade...im interested in some rwd action

Since your car is OBDII (96 and newer), it goes for a OBDII test where they simply plug into the computer, make sure there is no CEL, and all or most of the sensors are ready and not set to failed.

If its a JDM swap, there is no OBDII, so it will say it can't connect, making the inspection impossible. USDM swap is OBDII and it will connect, which means it IS possible to pass inspection, as long as all the sensors are functioning correctly, no cel, and theres a cat in place for visual.
