Ok, So i got a 95 corvette lt1 about a 2 weeks ago and decided to put it in my 92 coupe. So i finished rebuilding the lt1 saturday and today sunday after the lake i pulled the ka out and started to prep the engine bay. I'm gonna have a clearnace issue with the rack and the oil pan. I dont want to change the oil pan. i have this issue, but... I came up with and idea of doing a little steering, suspension, and brake conversion to be unique. Ok here is the idea and if anybody has tried it or comments please post them. I was gonna relocate the rack to the front and run the tie rod end in the bottom of the knuckle arm. Swap the knuckles from side to side and use my tension adjustable tension rods and camber plate for allignment. I know it wont be a big deal about the brakes i have 300zx brake swap up front so the calipers on the side closer to the door isn't gonna hurt, alot of cars have the calipers that way, and the big brakes will still stop. I know their is a company out now that make the subframe to bay for the swap but i like stiff to be like on off.
