Ok i bought a T28 from a premie and just swapped it.

But I got a problem, my T25 oil drain flange does not bolt up to the T28.

Did i get scammed by a premie here ? But im pretty sure its a t28, they look identical with the size being the only difference.

Design is different. Did you to use the t25 turbo inlet and outlet pipes Because if you did you really did get scammed.

There are different types of t28's. You need a oil outlet adapter kit for the t28. I actually used an oil outlet hose off a 1st gen eclipse turbo to make one for my sr. Just cut to fit. Your gonna have to be creative or spend some money on the kit.

i believe the flange is the same

would cutting it and running a longer hose work

i've seen this problem before too. the supposed S14 T28 was actually a hibrid. does it have an "adapter" ring on the inside (center) of the compressor housing? it's held on with a large snap ring. or is the compressor housing all once piece?

in our case, we ended up just widening the holes for the flange on the oil drain to get it to fit properly. the return hole was the same size, just the flange was different.

on the larger t28 turbos the flange is different than t25's. I think on the t28 it is smaller, so you will have to either modify the t25's drain by taking a rat tail file and filing inside the holes till you can use it, or buy the correct one. FRsport.com has them. I dont think you got scammed though.
