My one year anniversary!

Well, it seems like only yesterday <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'> but one year ago tomorrow (sept 6th) I bought my s14 for $10,200 with only 43,000 miles. She now has 63,000 miles and a few mods and I've loved every minuet of spirited driving in her <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/blush.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':blush:'>

To celebrate I bought her some new stuff. Some ordered on the last pay check, some ordered on this one...here it is
Porterfield street/race pads front and rear
Brembo vented rotors (front) [just getting rears cut cauz i'm cheap]
Speed bleeders all around
Castrol GTLMA Dot4 Brake fluid
Stainless steel braided brake lines all around
And finally a battery relocation kit

I wish I could have bought her more but I decided to spend the rest of my money on the next car payment so she'll actually be "mine" just that much sooner.

In place of buying more stuff, I decided to run her a little harder than usual around some of our favorite corners. Best one (worth mentioning) was a downhill turn leading to a 55mph road. I usually turn in slow and come out fast but I decided to pickup the pace on my turnin, where I usually come in between 35-40 I turned in just over 45mph and at "trackout" I was doing a little over 60mph...no instability no tire squeal...my best yet <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':thumbsup:'>

My one year came and went late last month. &nbsp;I think over the last year it's gotten enough presents and attention. &nbsp;If I could, I'd really like to give it a friend for christmas. &nbsp;Another 240 coupe to use for track duty. &nbsp;Stripped and race only, swap my good motor in that and drop a blacktop Sr into my current ride. Mmmmmmmm......

fodive, brembo rotors from stranoparts.com. &nbsp;They are stock size, look identical to stock actually. &nbsp;They were about a hundred bucks or so.

hipposleek, I'll be at lowes motorspeedway in charlotte NC. &nbsp;It's not a full track day, its hyperfest. &nbsp;They have several 20min HPDE sessions for $40 each. &nbsp;I'll take pics &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':thumbsup:'>

it sucks - I know a lot of good instructors who are going down - but I think they're all racing. &nbsp;Diane - a girl driving a Miata is also very helpful if you could get her.
