I was talking to Wheresmytofu a while back, and he said that the 200sx tranny bolts right up to the ka, and it helps in acceleration, but they made lots of 200sx trannys, lke turbo non turbo, ect ect, which one do i get??

The bellhousings can be swapped. I can find a step by step if you are really serious. The acceleration would be faster with he KA trans IIRC.

'200SX'? You mean the euro/aussie S13/S14/S15?

The CA18DET, SR20DE, and SR20DET 5-speed transmissions use the same 1st-4th gear ratios as the KA24E and KA24DE transmission. Only the 5th gear ratio sometimes varies.

The CA18DE had a trans with slightly wider spaced ratios (1st gear is a low, low 3.592:1 vs. 3.321 for all others)
