i am thinking about a 1jz swap into a zenki and am stuck with a few things. ( i like to plan everything before hand) a single turbo swap would be great on that engine but what would control it? is a power fc and other standalones the only option? b/c i doubt a safc would control even the stock turbo's at high boost.

if your spending that much time and money go with a full stand alone. get something like a haltech. so worth it if you doing this extensive a project.

i'm not going through with it yet, i'm just planning. also 1jz itself is not that expensive, so if i can do most of the work myself, it shouldn't get that expensive. the thing that worries me the most, is the way it will handle and drive after the swap. i wish i could feel it, but no one near has even a rb
