i have no clue if this fits here...but being this is the only forum im on and some of you dudes know a thing or 2 about bikes i figured id post in OT.

a friend of mine is looking for a Yoshimura Exhaust for his 2007 GSX-R 600..they are:

yoshimura japan dual tip trs
yoshimura japan single tip shorty
and yoshimura gp evo

i was told these are only sold in japan and not in the US so we were wondering if anyone can get them. or possibly a site that sells them.

thanks a lot

Thats a sick exhaust. On a sidenote... you know your friend will lose some power putting that exhaust on there? Even with a high flow air cleaner.

On the bright side, some old lady might hear him coming instead of drifting into his lane. But she might also be scared by it and drift into his lane. Good luck to your friend.

06-07 gsxr 600's are the same. no changes. yoshimura exhausts sound pretty quiet IMO.

you can get away with putting a slipon on a bike with no other mods, but if you put on a high flow air filter like a BMC race, youre going to need to get a PCIII with a tune. mods will easily fuck up a bike's AFR which makes them slower.

Good call on them being the same, captain obvious. Notice the bike depicted is 1000, and it is not a 06 or 07.

At no point in the thread did anyone ask for the PC advice, I thought that was blatantly obvious to all bike owners? Thanks for...everything.

Anyone else with any useful leads?

Moomba Cyclesports

http://www.moombacyclesports.com/

their site isnt that informative as to what they carry, but they are associated with Autolink Motorworks (share warehouse) and they can pretty much get anything so i dont see why it would be different then the bike shop

Please note I'm the guy looking for the exhaust for my bike. I am the buddy Chase (TOPSECRT88) is posting for. This still doesn't explain why you said anything about the 06 being the same as the 07. The 06 was never mentioned, and it never needed to be stated. That's all. Relax.

Thanks for the posts about the exhaust above...I'll check em out.

Also the one in the pic you listed isn't the "shorty" version. Check the pics I had Chase post, the canister is shorter. Damn this is becoming harder than I thought.

Found the answers to all my questions. The shortened model is only available on the 1000. The 600 and 750 have a 14" canister. Also fuelmotousa.com is the place to get 'em. Thanks for your help guys.
