Alright ive had this on my mind since friday(8/24)As some of you may or may not know I had my car impounded.Its a long story but in a nut shell had a date to show up in court, didn't receive my courtesy notice, so i called court they said "Its not on our records so if your not in here theres no date set", im a retard for listening to them but hey its the "COURT", missed date got a failure to appear they suspended my license, I got pulled over for not turning on my headlights:goyou:, thus officer saking me for proof of insurance, license and registration, I gave it up so he comes back saying "STEP OUT OF THE VEHICLE":tweak: <thats my face.Let me know the bad news and before I know car is gone for 30 days.WELL it gets better.:confused: I had my GF pick it up since I had to work.She calls me and just puts some guy on the phone he works at the tow yard.Well He tells me that someone backed into my car and now the passenger Blinker, Fender, Headlight, and some of my hood is damaged:wtc: Mind you I have a K's silvia front with halogens.They said that they have a guy that could fix it for $250 I was like how is this guy know where to get S13 Silvia front end parts from?I told him to just give me money he gave me $350 cash I said ok + I had been away from my car for a month so I just wanted it back.One good to this story the guy siad if I have to spend more he will cover it.:hs: Well im usually not an angry person but this is just gone too far with the whole court, tow fees, & damage.If you meet me im the type where I dont like to get worked up....But im so worked up right now I wanna just wanna......RELAX.

Thats pretty gay, did you go to court and talked to the judge? Talking to them wont really hurt you, might be worth in the long run. Tell them what happend, no notice and you even called and they tell them what they told you. You werent in the court system so they didnt have anything on you. Like I said, you get the right judge, might just give you break, atleast lessen the fines.

that sucks to hear luis.....atleast you now have your car back, and atleast the guy is paying for the damage, sucks it happened in the first place, and now you have to find the parts and then install them and have them painted to match.....that sucks bawls. but yeah there really isnt much you can do against the court.......stupid court. just have your girl drive everywhere.....you'll enjoy for like the first week.....LOL

Coming from an experienced cited driver, haha, the "courtsey" notice from the court is just that, a "courtsey". They're not responsible for you getting a failure to appear (which ends up getting you a warrant), whatever ticket you got, when you signed it it had the date and time on it of when to go to court. So TECHNICALLY it was all your fault. Tape that shit up on your wall next time or something. I make sure that whenever I get a ticket, that ticket becomes my #1 priority no matter what until its settled. Snowball effect !! Apparently yours made a HUGE ass snowball at the bottom of the hill....
