that was pretty cool. but what's the game supposed to be about? and is there the slightest chance it's coming to the US?
i still have very high hopes for the PS3. sony still knows what's up.

Moral of the Story: If you slap a Japanese girl around or you'll get stabbed in the stomach.

i thought boku no natsuyasumi is a game about catching insects and shit?
thats what it was when i was a kid in japan...more like teenager, but i remember seeing comercials for the PS1 for the first game on TV...without the abuse, knife and famous actors...
isnt that guy from the takeshi kitano movie: brother? lol.

The game, in a nutshell, is like the typical summer a kid spends in Japan.
Yes, bug catching is a big thing in Japan and is a big part of the game (and just having fun), I didn't do much of it since I was (still am) terrified of bugs, I just left that to friends/relatives.
Here's a rough translation, sorry I didn't provide this on the initial post.
--------------------
Girl: "The flowers printed on my dress, I can see them in my dream."
Gangster: "I was once protecting the Earth."
Guy: "I chased bugs on my bike."
He gets stabbed.
Guy: "God..."
Girl: "That summer..."
Gangster: "Would you please give it back?"
Guy: "Oniyama..." (a bug; that last thing the guy see's)
--------------------
On the top of it all, you can see the guy takes what's left of his girlfriend's cash, and is desperate to pay someone back with it, but it's already too late as the gangster comes to do his dirty work.
Beneath it, it's a loss of innocence, wanting to go back to a time when things were easier, more carefree, it's about having those memories that you can never forget but ultimately, never can go back to.
