It's probably because the material is like, suede-ish.

Makes it look darker in certain spots because of the lighting.

The seat is not dirty at all.

Its the alcantara material. Its like when you vacuum certain carpets, the areas where your vacuum goes over turns dark or light. This material is the same way.

It can be like a message board!
