I actually never got around to welding it on. The one for sale is an oval type canister. I did have on the car a magnaflow round straight through. With no resonator on a stock SR20DET it sounded deep and surprisingly mellow. I'll try and get a pic tonight.

i've got the same muffler on a stock KA 30degree BTC HKS filter intake and hotshot headers on my s13 hatch and its loud on a mandrel bent pace-setter piping... so i fixed it somewhat w/ a cherry bomb glass pack so it sounds pretty clean but not too raspy... i silenced it further by adding a 3" tip and a 3" silencer for street driving... now it sounds like a stock muffler till i pull that silencer off...

obviously since its a 3" ID it would sound better on a turbo motor but w/ the glasspack on (or resonator) it sounds clean on an N/A...

here's how mine look like: (btw i painted my muffler flat black to keep it simple and stock looking)

my car is so dirty... i just haven't had time to clean off all that dust from Horse thief mile and the balcony....

$25 is a great deal since I paid $70 for mine...
