yeah and if you don't want to buy that shit, i stil have my t3/t4 turbo for sale 450 o.b.o
but yeah i wouldn't trust any ebay brand shit on my car, esp not something as important as a turbo. thats like buying a boat with holes in it cause its cheaper than a boat without holes.

that what youre talking about?
if so, i'd stay away, any offbrand ball bearing kit i'd avoid.

Have fun buying an epoxied turbo with horrible lubrication. I'll give you $20 if it lasts more than 2 months

^Haha I have to agree with n1sm0r... I doubt that turbo will last anything more than one pull, hell maybe it'll give you a week, but sooner rather than later, it'll break... Just save the money for a real turbo...

thats cool i understand the manifold situation, and i had a similar problem some guy was goign to sell me a t28 and a manifold and he wouldnt show me pics of the housing and when he did it was just a polished pos, after i asked if he got it on ebay, he didnt talk o me anymore.

i hate these threads! Wow.. you saw one that split in half.. uh oh.. How many pictures of sr20's have you seen where the rod is hanging out of the block. So since youve seen a picture of that before does that mean all sr20's are gonna throw a rod? Nope.. shit happens. If you wanna buy the turbo, then buy it, but obviously theres a reason more people have garrett than cheapos.. because the quality witih garrett is going to be better, theres more research in them, more money into making them, and more of a following!

Anyways..
GT28 usually cost upwards of 1k+
do you really believe a turbo that costs maybe a third of that will perform and last the same?
On ebay, if there's no brand, its an "ebay" branded turbo and we all know what that means.
Just stay away from it, if you're going to do it, do it right the first time.
You keep cutting corners in a project, you'll end up in a circle. Buying this and that over and over again.
