i've been having trouble removing my aftermarket steering wheel setup for some time now. a couple friends of mine and myself tried brute force, but that didnt work. i also tried using some chains connected to a hammer to have an effect like a slide hammer, but that had no effects either.

the other day i went to pick up a pulley/hub remover from harbor freight to help with the task. unfortunately that didnt work and now i have a bunch of bent washers. :loco:

anyone have any other solutions to a stubborn hub? i feel really dumb right now for asking, but i figure someone might have some input.

this is why you lube it before you put it in :keke:

eh.. wd40 was used when i uninstalled the oem wheel and installed the aftermarket hub. so it was lubricated.

a friend of mine told me to try out a pulley remover like this http://www.drivewerks.com/catalog/images/tools2003/OTC-1022-detail.jpg

instead of the current hub puller i'm using. ill update tomorrow if i get it off.

feel free to leave any more suggestions. i might need them if the pulley remover doesnt work.
