I'm feeling just retarded, maybe cuz I haven't slept in 2 days... or maybe I'm just a schmuck. u pick.
For the life of me, I can't find where it says my car's manufacture date. It's not on the engine/chassis info plate under by the firewall, it's not under the hood, it's not in the doors... WTF? I need to know if my car was made prior to May 91 or after may 91 to get the correct front suspension member... I need to order it TOMORROW... but hell if I can find my car's manufacture date <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>
Someone please help my retarded ass! I'm tired. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cry.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Look on some of your repair reciepts if you ever took it to nissan to have it worked on. It should say on them.

thanks for the help everyone... the little plate turned out to be where mark said it should have been. Previous owners took the car to jiffylube (ack), and they put their stupid service sticker right over the damn thing by the door jam. I'd left it there cuz I tried to take it off once and it was leaving adhesive and crap, so I left it out of laziness.
My own damn fault I guess <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> My new crossmember is in the mail woohoo!

Isn't it under the center console cover thingy(lol). I have a sticker right there on the under-side of it with some basic info like tire size, passenger seating, and I thought the prod. date too.

Just curious, what is wrong with your crossmember?
I just dented mine up a bit when I had it jacked up by the front cross member. Stupid stupid stupid! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Here's a pic of the damage done (or being fixed rather). It's not the best angle, but if you look hard, you can see that the side of the crossmember that holds the control arm; the backside is bent outward about 2 inches, the front is torqued about 15degs clockwise and the backside you can't see, actually had the nut of the control arm bolt torn half way through it. I could've taken it out and banged it straight again, but my alignment would never be right, and it would be severly weakened from the nut being torn through (bad for my whole drifting thing, hehee)
