I don't think so. The Garrett part number on the ID stamp is 466541-1.
Hmm... lot of cash.. :ugh: But very interesting! :coolugh:

As I stated in a previous post, this is not the SPEC R turbo. That's why I wrote the Garrett part number on there for you 466541-1. The SPEC R part number is 466541-4. Check out Garrett's website and you'll see that the the SPEC R is the "same as the 466541-1 except for the turbine housing and wheel material." Also, the SPEC R has the divider.
So check out Garret's site and read for yourself. Both the 466541-1 and 466541-4 are OEM S15 Turbos. There is more than one S15 model, isn't there?
So chill out and do the research......

I have one in my fully built KA-T w/ITB's that I'm going to upgrade to the GT2871R. It's in really good condition since I only drive my 510 about 50 miles a month. LMK

Can you see it now? Try opening your eyes a little more. It seems like you have nothing better to do because you're always hating on other people's post...

When you say "This is the OEM turbo on the S15 SR20DET" thats what threw me off.
I work for Nissan so I think I've done enough research to know. There are two models of s15 turbos, and the third one is used on the S15 but came from the S14.
Let me educate you:
There are 3 turbos for the s15 and here are the OEM part numbers
14411-91F00 = comes with the baffle like the picture I posted. The best one you can buy. 6MT tranny Spec R turbo
14411-75F00 = this is also a s15 turbo but its the last generation of turbo made for the S15. Comes with Baffle.
14111-69F00 = Same as the s14 turbo ballbearing but smaller in trim/ar Its for the automatic s15.
Since your turbo does not come with the built in baffle yours is a S14 turbo. Not S15. However, It might just be a generic Garrett with the same trim/ AR as the s15. If thats the case then its not OEM.

Thanks for the input. That's what I thought, too. I'm not a huge SILVIA fanatic so I don't know the difference between the different specs. My source of information is an actual Garrett engineer who I got this turbo from. I think he would know more than anyone else....That's why I am listing the Garrett part numbers instead of Nissan part numbers.
If there's any Silvia gurus out there, please enlighten us.....

I just read this post again and noticed a contradiction in your post. You said that there was a "third turbo used on the S15 but came from the S14."
Since you educated me on this subject. I have a questions for you -
Wouldn't my non Spec R turbo still be an OEM S15 turbo since it comes stock on the S15? LMK If that' the case, then it is OEM. It's just not a spec R turbo correct and not once have I tried to sell this as a Spec R turbo.

both s15 turbos come with baffle. The only difference is the spec R is ceramic turbine.

correct technically you can say its a s15 turbo. But everyone always assumes that s15 is the spec R turbo and its better. They don't know that there are different turbos especially one from the s14. Just wanted people to know good luck with the sale. Free Bump
