Im havin a few issues with my sr20... i have a walbro fuel pump because the old one burnt out... stock fpr.. now i replaced my plugs a month ago because the car was running a really rough idle.. it helped.. but it didnt fix the idle..

my car wouldnt start the other day so i changed out the relays (for the 2nd time) and it started.. my plugs are black... i changed them out.. ran the car for 2 minutes and took them out.. black again any ideas?

Black plugs can be caused by a number of things. But it sounds like too much unburnt fuel in the cylinders. If you have a stock fpr, you must have the correct fuel pressure, so I don't see the pump being a problem. So, for some reason the injector pw is too long. Check your sensors (see fsm)...MAF and MAP, one could be bad.

it could be that the stock fpr cant handle the enormous amount of fuel being spit out of the walbro

at least thats what happened to me

it can also be leaky injectors, bad ecu, a number of different things, do you get any smoke?
