So I drive a 89 240sx w/ non-ABS. im replacing my master cylinder but my new BMC isnt going to be coming with a reservior. Im having trouble removing it from the brake master cylinder.
Anyone have any tips on how to get it off i've been tryign to pry it off for awhile with different sized flat heads no luck thanks

Use a flat head. Pry evenly and try not to crack the plastic. With a little persistence it will come off.

You can't get the reservior off the MC?
Put the MC in a vice, and grab the tank with some pliers and pull that bitch off!!! Try twisting it first so that it will rotate in place, then pull.
C'mon man put your back into it. It'll come off.

I had to remove my old S14 MC tank once. It was a bitch. Those two little rubber seals in the holes are in there pretty tight.
Just put your foot on the MC and stick a good sized screwdriver in between the MC and the tank. Then pop that bitch off!!!
Once you get it off it snaps in pretty easily. There's no bolts/screws holding it in.

All your friends must be Jerry's kids or something.
It's not that hard!! Just brace the MC with either a vice or hell even your foot. Then just put a big screwdriver in the open space and force it up! They'll pop out.
HULK SMASH THAT PIECE OF SHIT MANG!!!
