Well the other day i was driving to get my poor mans gas station dinner when my car started acting funny. It was fine at first but you mash the throttle the car hesitates like a mofo. The boost gauge shows that it is making boost but the response is horrible. I think the clutch is slipping but not entirely sure because the rpm's dont jump up really high when this is happening. It just feels like it is hesitating. Timing is fine, no vaccum leaks, no boost leaks. The clutch is a mystery clutch from the swap (redtop sr). Just wanted to get some input on the problem.

doesnt sound like clutch if its hesitating like you described, have you checked all your wire connections?

no i didnt, also i dont know if this helps but sometimes when it hesitates, if i let of the gas for a sec it feels like it catches and then i can go but other times it's it just feels like it doesn't want to go at all....

I sorta had the same problem, I would check the clutch slave, they should be changed during every clutch install.
