Ok I did search and all I got was vauge descriptions.
I got a t25 with an HKS actuator on it.Got it at the setting
its at never adjusted.Im gonna put it in soon so I need to
know what length in mm's is how much PSI?I did search I
found a really vauge description here on zilvia.Someone (that was banned)
posted that your suppose to measure from the actuator to the end of the rod and these are the numbers they gave:
125mm=15lbs
130mm=10lbs
135mm=stock?
I also found this install here he shows that you measure from
the actuator to the middle of the wastegate pin.Like in the pics below.
The numbers he gave sound a little more accurate.But its on a Toyota motor...dont know if that matters:ugh:
128mm=7.25psi
123mm=11.60psi <Which is what I wanna boost(12psi).:aw:
121mm=14.50psi
119mm=17.40psi

Just measuring the rod length isnt going to give you an accurate setting. Just buy a cheap 20-30 dollar autometer boost gauge and set it. Dont try to cut corners. All cars are different so its hard to go by other people. I have learned that you cant trust what everyone says. Especially on the forums.

I got my autometer boost gauge for 20 dollars shipped on ebay so they arnt expensive.

borrow a gauge, use it to set your desired boost on the actuator, give the gauge back.

No way around it, every car will act differently. Get a gauge and keep adusting it till you get it the boost you want.

I'm getting an s13 blacktop swapped in and I bought the hks actuator. I also have all the bolt on upgrades (turbo elbow, full exhaust, intake and fmic) IIRC it's preset at either 10 or 12 lbs by hks out of the box, sorry I forgot. Mine was just installed without being adjusted. I'll let you know what it boosts at as soon as my swap is done which should be by tomorrow afternoon.

*edit: Mods like the turbo elbow and fmic do affect boost so yeah my information might not be helpful. Just get a boost gauge like you posted and adjust accordingly.

They are trying to tell you that there are no 'legit' measurements. The length of the wastegate rod is not an accurate way to determine how much boost you will run. Get a boost gauge.

^^ Exactly what everybody has been answering. Just keeping tightening that arm till you get that desired boost level /w a boost gauge of course.

Its gonna suck having to let it cool then reaching in there to adjust.
