SDS and HMP motorsports come to mind for SOHC turbo kits.
Saying the DOHC is really any better than the SOHC is like saying "the engine used more for racing isn't as good." (NSport cars are limited to single cam, thus the availability of slightly more stuff for racing apps on the KA24E.)

well im going to say that the dohc really is better than the sohc, maybe not in aftermarket, but the advantage in more exact timing has to be noticed

more exact timing??
how many people here have adjustable cam gears and aftermarket cams??
Really, an SOHC's timing can be adjusted by a regrind, and the timing shifted as a whole with an adjustable cam gear.
The best reason to switch to a DOHC?? DOHC engines are newer, and most likely in better condition.
As far as performance goes, SOHC's have definitely shown they can hang with the DOHC's.

ok for one what are Duel overhead cams?If you want to talk about performance make sence and like ace said the sohc's can still hang with the dohc's there is not as strong market for them but that does not make them no good.

i never said they were no good, but i like to think a little more long term with my car than many ppl here, yes sohc can hang but completely even, exact same mods, the dohc pulls ahead, dohc due to less stress under highpower output, can rev higher
how does dual overhead cams not make sense? does dohc make more sense? cuz its the same thing
