Well I was driving on this ripped up road, because the city of Phila sucks and doesn't fix anything. Anyway so what happened was I guess some gravel from the road flew up and hit the fuel tank or something of that nature cause now there are 3 holes in the bottom of the tank. It is leaking like crazy. So right now I'm letting it all drain out cause I tried the gas&oil resistant sealer but the pressure is too much to seal it even with a piece of metal on top. Well anyway so you guys think after it bleeds all the way if I use some JB weld to seal the holes and then spray some bedliner on fuel tank it'll prevent this from happening again or any other suggestions. I'm about to just run a fuel cell in the trunk LoL. Well any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried to get a new tank off courtesyparts but first of all they want like 300$ and they don't have one pre 91 for some reason. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to get a used tank for $50-$75. I'm sure the Philly area has a bunch of salvage yards.

Mine was punctured, and I replaced it with a used tank.

I would go that route instead of trying to repair a busted one.

Don't know of any differences between 90-91 tanks.

Good luck.

remove tank

fill it to the very very very top with gas, I mean completely and totally full to the last drop

weld it

by no means is koukimonster139 or anybody associated with koukimonster139 responsible for OP blowing up his car, gargae, friends, girlfriend, etc.. because he tried to weld a gas tank

All 89-94 tanks are the same. You can drop it in less than 10 minutes and replace it. Don't halfass it with some epoxy.
