Headlight Motor Help

I got a s13 with the pop-ups. My problem is that the headlights wont go up and down when i trun the lights on.

Headlights work n everything else is good, i even checked if power was going through the wires and there was power going through. I used a seperate set of wires that ran directly from the battery to the headlight motors. and they went up and down, so the motors arent bad. Its only when the motors are connected through its harness that they do not work. So i have no clue what the problem is.

any help would be great. thanks

i think your headlight motors are bad. or not plug in check them. pm me if they are bad i have 2 extra sets if you want them

i doubt it can be the motors . because i checked them with a 12 volt and they worked fine. and they were plugged in when i tried.

I had the same thing happen to me. I was going to fix them before I got in a rear ender. Now I have a silvia front end.

Anyhow, my headlight return relay (i think that was it) was bad. They popped up, never popped down.
But there are like 5 different things that need to work in order for the headlights to work right. Id consult the Chiltons...

I have almost the same exact problem... mine went up but never went down.. being wanting to find some one else in my area with an s13 to swap out relays and switches to see if they went bad but haven't had a chance too... if you do fix it, let me know what part(s) went bad...

yeah. the difference with mine is that they dont go UP or down, but yea if i figure it out, ill let you guys know
