Hey,
I'm going to look at a 91 240 with a blown motor tommorow.  The owner says the motor overheated and the car can't be driven.  I'd rather just drop a used KA into the car since it's going to be a daily driver and get it back on the road.  I was just wondering what's the going rate for a KA24 longblock?  Just trying to get a general idea of what to pay for one.  I've been messing with Mitsus and 4G63's for awhile now, don't know too much about Nissans, but I'm willing to learn.  thanks.

You can look in the for sale section of the forumand there is someone selling his ka24de and tranny with ecu for 500.00 which is cheaper then just about any thing you could imagine plus its froma 95 so a little newer motor as well.

I paid 2,200 for a used engine with 34,000 miles, excellent condition, that includes install, new clutch, water pump, and oil pump(also it came with a LIFETIME WARRANTY). I got it from Greenleaf salavage yards. If I find there website I will post it on here, but you will have to call to see if they have any avalable, but it talks about the lifetime warranty or garuntee, either way it doesn't matter. But i'll look for the site peace.

ok the website is http://www.greenleafauto.com just look around and then call, they will hook you up, there good engines to, just get a local service center to check it out before installing it. Good luck.
