K I've been trying to figure out ways to keep my car running cooler. Everytime I got the AC, my water temp creeps up to 100. Im running dual e-fans, Billion Thermostat (opens up at 65) and a GTR Greddy Radiator. Im planning on dropping some water wetter if I can ever get ahold of some here in Okinawa.

Thanks, forgot all about that...

Figured ill try to flush the system and see if thatll help. But 100 degrees for normal city driving with the AC is fucking rediculous...thats what im trying to figure out why its running so hot and what else can i do to help lower the temps. Seems like its different with everybody's setup.

Try to flush out your system, take your radiator out and run some water through it. If you want it hot tanked I can show you a place for 8000 yen. Basically an overhauled radiator after it leaves that place. I have about 50/50 in my car, nismo thermo, 3 row, normal driving is 70C. With radiator and stock thermo it was about 85 degrees full time. The car has no ac so can't give you that comparison.

Yah thats my issue right now. With the AC off, I run 70-75 degrees no problem. I turn on the AC and the extra load starts pushing the temp up to 90. Once it gets there, it slowly creeps up to 100 while stuck in traffic. Ill probably try to flush the system then maybe even drill a hole or 2 into the thermo and run some water wetter, that's if Foster ever gets them again...:rant2:

As far as getting the rad hot tanked, I should have thought about that before. I just got DJDangers GTR rad into my S14. I should have tanked that before I swapped it into the S14.

You need three things.

1. Clutch fan
2. Ducting
3. Oil Cooler

Camp Foster Sells Water Wetter at their Auto hobbie shop for like 7 bucks I think

Thats shit made a huge differnce in my Hachi with the combo of a two core Copper radiatior and billion hoses and an E-fan

I just read the rest of the posts about Foster running out... well Enjukuracing Racing sell if you get desperate enough to order it
