Noticed one of my AC pully was bent on the edges, making the belt not fully engaged on the pully wheel. Belt was pretty shreded for resting on the edge of the AC pully.
So i cut the secondary driving belt for the a/c, so it woundn't snap and fuck up my main driving belt. Now she idles REALLY low and almost stalls out on stops (but hasn't yet).
Question: Will driving with out the ac belt mess somthing up? it seems to make my iddle really low. Im not gonna drive untill my AC pully comes in so will i mess my car up driving to the dealership?

Try bumping the idle in the mean time and see if that helps.

i haven't had one in any of the three 240sx's that i've owned and they all ran fine. if anything i think it would free up some resistance on the motor let it run better. try messing with tps or something thats what i'd do.

make sure all your other belts are nice and torqued to spec
22lbs i think
you might wanna clean your AICV
and adjust your idle after you've done all that

i took my AC belt and my car and still runs fine. like what hay hay13 said, i took it off for free resistance

My a/c belt shredded when my bumper when under my car and a piece of fiberglass got caught between the belt and the pulley. Car made it home just fine, but I kept finding little strips from the belt hidden in small crevices of the engine bay

you're not going to gain much from not having an ac belt. why not just buy a new belt? they're like 5 bucks.
