I think it has to do with the reasoning that the thread was indended not to sell, but to share with everyone else the funny description of the car. But I do understand how this can be seen as against the rules. The Mods have the ultimate say though and if they say it's okay, ITS OKAY! Lol.

WOW, that's really funny. I ALMOST bought that car. Well maybe not almost, but I did go and look at it. When I looked at it though it was in Slinger, WI. I saw the car parked behind a barn while driving on the freeway to Green Bay. On the way back I saw the name of the place and called the guy. He said it was in rough shape and would be happy to get $1000 for it cause that's what he had into it. The next week I went and looked at it in hopes of rescuing a rare two tone gem. Upon seeing how bad a shape it was in I almost shed a tear and reluctantly had to pass.

ebay links are only prohibited when you are selling an item, not when your just pointing out an interesting item for discussion. so if you wanted to sell a part, made an ebay auction, and then created a thread guiding people to your auction, that is a no-no. but if you just want to say, "hey, look at this cool turd-twister I found on ebay", that's perfectly fine.



it saddens me to see these beat up two-tones. :(
the car looks like it's salvageable if someone had the time and a welder and combed the for sale section for a few weeks.
