Taking out my KA24DE and going to upgrade it...
going to bore out the engine to 90mm.
going to raise the comp to 10.7:1 with Arias pistons
ill be using the 20V 4AG-E ITB`s
light cranck pulley
MY QUESTION IS...
what angel should i use for cams?
going to redo the head completly(anyone knows where i can get cams and spring and valves?)hard to find stuff for the KA.

whats your goal?
i've looked into n/a ka.. but it seemed it would cost a boatload of money to get any decent power out.
thats why i swayed with ka-t.
BC, iirc discontinued their cams?

I'm considering starting the same type of project... This is what I was planning on doing...
Stock bore 10.5:1 pistons
Stock rods
AMS counterweight balanced crank
Brian Crower 264 cams
Brian Crower valves and springs
GSXR1000 ITB setup
370cc injectors
Crank damper if available... I hear the SR one will fit but the belts are different
Lightened flywheel
and rev it to 9K... I'm confident it will make 200WHP and be a blast to drive...
invest into a KA20DE crank
dont even waste your time on KA24DE
just look up older datson Z24 engine builds
shit, a KA24E is more buildable than the dual cam.

YEA! i like that...im not looking to get much power since this engine its going to roll an AE86 coupe fully built, Turbo to me its straight drifters or AWD, all i need higher revving and better trothel responde, so 180Hp&200Trq or 200Hp&220Trq and anything over 7K RPM would be FANTASTIC!
btw yougot the 20V adaptor and setup for like $500 shipped, GSXR could be hard to tune for some...
i know itll cost me at least $2500 just the engine, after the whole thing done its $10K but it would perform like a 100K car, well most of the time any way...
