Hi, I just bought a 240 with Z32 brake conversion, the previous owner told me that they are 26mm rotors, I want to change the brake pads now and I have looked into many websites and most of them dont specify the year or size of the rotor. I am just wondering if the brake pads for 26mm and for 30mm rotors are the same? If not, where can I get the brake pads for 26mm(89-90NA Z32)? Any inputs will be highly appreciated! :)

same pads. get hawk HPS's. they're good pads for anything short of track work, low dust and low noise.

Thanks for the info, I think I will go for HP+, which I am currently using on my miata. I track my car a lot and I also do some spirited mountain driving...so HP+ should provide me with the best results...

if you actually track the car, there are other options that are worth looking at, better performance for the same money. unfortunetly i'm not too familiar with them. search around and you'll find some good info. carbotech comes to mind.

hate to raise this thread back up but i have a similar question.
i have the 30mm calipers and i am looking to get pads soon. i have heard that skyline, S14, and Z32 calipers all rock the same pads...is this true? if it is then thats great for me cuz over here its harder to acquire Z32 pads than it is skyline pads. skylines are just a lot more common so thats what the stores stock in this area

only certain skyline pads are the same. the GTS-t R33 ones should be right.

Yes, all take the same pad.
That'll be 10x packs of beef flavor CoCo Ichibanya curry.
PM me for my shipping address.

Measure the rotor channel in the caliper. 30mm channel = 26mm rotor, 34mm channel = 30mm rotor.
Before you ask how to tell between iron and aluminum, use a magnet.

i think the R33 GTS-t rocks 296mm brakes (same as R32 GT-R non Vspec).
you can either use R32 GTS-t pads or S14 silvia k's brake pads IIRC
