Alright I don't know what's wrong with my car. If I were to drive a long distance (5-10miles) in the heat, my car will begin to bog like it's running out of gas until I pull over and turn off the engine. Whenever this happens I I just turn off my car for a minute and then start it back up, and it's good to go for a short distance, or a couple of miles. In the cold it'll take a while for this to happen. I'm assuming this has something to do with my fuel? I'm replacing my fuel filter this weekend to see if it helps. Does anyone know what could be the issue? I'm also adding a full can of seafoam through the gas tank to see if that helps any.

CTS? Coolant temp sensor, just a shot in the dark. Check ecu for codes, repair what you can, then get back.

Mine choked a few times after 40-50 miles at highway speed and recovered. The last straw was a stall exiting the freeway. And then it re-started like nothing ever happened.
I replaced the fuel filter, cap, rotor and wires, only because one thing leads to another and they're all reasonably priced and infrequently swapped out.
Never happened again!

that sounds just like the problem i'm having with my car. i'm replacing the fuel filter this weekend, and my cap, rotor, and wires are due for a change anyways, so i'll give it a try.
