I am getting around 17lbs of boost, well it will go there are beyond if I let it. For the moment I have been shiftling low. I know its not the solenoid, because I took it off and attached the wastegate actuator straight to the nipple before the intake manifold. So there isn't a possiblity of a leak, or the soleniod malfunctioning. I even sprayed the inlet of the turbo with some carburator cleaner to see if maybe carbon was making it stick. Still no luck. Is my wastegate stuck/broken.

So there isn't a possiblity of a leak, Not true...becuase the way the internal wastegate works, you could have a leak. I say pressurize the piping and see if the actuator moves or if you find leaks. Is your wastegate adjustable? Is there anything stopping the gate from opening. Your wastegate could have a punctured blatter.

Ok, I tried blowing into the wastegate actuator via the vacuum hose. With a little pressure it stays open. Blowing harder it closes up and I can't blow through it. Does this mean the wastegate is working?

anyone got any advice?

your wastegate should stay closed till a certain psi. I have no clue if this is a stock actuator or not, so lets say 7psi. Anything below 7psi it should be closed, above seven psi open. If your gate is open at a low pressure, then closed at a higher pressure then theres a problem. Is this an external gate? Do you want to find out what the problem is? If not just replace the actuator hope it fixes the problem.

It "should" be the stock wastegate actuator. It's on a T-28, internal WG. Is there a way to test the WG actuator?

you can pressurize the WG actuator inlet line with <=20psi. It should be closed until 5psi or so, then crack open and be fully open from 10psi+ [or whatever it's set at] onward.

Ok, still having problems with the WGA, I moved by boost gauge from sharing the line with the WGA to the BOV, and now I am getting a reading of 15psi+, I believe that reading is correct, because the BOV is loud,, as it normally is with high boost. So besides pressurizing the WGA (doing that today) what other things should I check?

Check that if the actuator works fine

Ok, I pressurized the WGA, I hit it up with about 10psi on the compresor, and I heard a little (fooop) sound when I pressurized it. Does this mean its working? If so,, why do I still have crazy high boost.
