I know they don't just come off like front ones do. But my rear fenders look like ass and I plan on purchasing the Version Select 50mm flared ones. What's gonna be involved in the swap.
I have an 89 240SX fastback.

1) Cut
2) Weld
3) Rivet on overfenders

wow great responses.
#1- theyre not over fenders, they're replacement fenders as far as I know. Feel free to correct me, but these aren't just like rivet on fender/wheel arch flares, they're they actualy widened replacement fenders
I'll rephrase, After looking at the body lines on the car I want to know if you need to cut anywhere else besides the lower part of the fender by the sideskirt? The rest of it looks like it'll just come right off without any other cutting. Is this the car or is there more cutting required?

#1 They ARE overfenders, and unlike you, I DO know.

Read the description next to the images.

The only company who makes new rear fenders for our cars is NISSAN. Those require the damaged part to be cut away and the new part to be welded in.

For the overfenders, you only cut out the wheel arch and reweld, then mount them how you want, doublesided tape, rivets, bondo, what have you.

Ok fair enough, I appreciate the help. I misunderstood and thought the previous poster meant the wheel arches that some companies sell.
The reason I asked is because the rear fenders on the car I bought have some shitty body work to them already, I was figuring replacing them with widened fenders (cuz I'd like to run wider wheels/tires) would be easiest.
Now I have to figure out if I'm gonna be able to just put the over-fenders over the ones I have or if I need body-work to the current fenders AND THEN add the over fenders.
Here's a picture of the car so you see what I mean, the part there right under the taillight tha comes around from the rear fender, it looks like ass .... any help with what's gonna be easiest to remedy that is greatly appreciated

lol. Cmon man... it's not gonna be a show car, but I don't wanna have to resort to self-tappers lol.

rivots then son. ur makin this harder then it is by posting about it online instead of just doing it. we don't need to hold ur hand thru this process. its just an over fender. cut the upper half arch over the wheel well. and set the over fender on the car. drill holes thru the body and rivot it in place. make sure u run big enough wheels or else it'll look like complete ass

whatever you do make sure you clear away the metal in order to make your new super wide fenders actually functional.... cut away the old sheetmetal and reweld it leaving room for the mega wide tires!!!!

its easy stuff and yes self tapers rule.
