Checking out this car and wanting to know what you guys think.

It's selling for $1000 and has 300+ KMs on the engine. Interrior is mint, but it's got some rust.

It's the last one that concerns me...Is that even fixable? And if so, how much would it cost to patch all of this... Question, is it even worth it?

On a side note, the interrior is mint. hah~

I would say noooooooo.....

I wouldn't want to deal with that. Just save your money and buy a much better condition one. Have patience.

Looks like that car see's alot of snowy areas where they put salt on the ground. In my opinion it's not worth the $1,000. The rust will only get worse.

Car is not worth a grand but the rust is definately fixable. To be honest, your frames aren't that bad compared to others in Southern Ontario. It can easily be fixed for $300-$800 depending on how well you want the job done.

what the fuck happened to that door?

the frame is pretty rusty, i'd avoid it. there are plenty of rust free or near rust free 240's to be had.

You guys don't know what it's like to live in southern ontario, Canada, do you? We've probably have more rotten 240's than anywhere else. This really isn't that bad, considering how bad other 240s are. There aren't "plenty" of rust free 240s up here, especially S13's. If you want something rust free up here you better be prepared to drop at least $4-5000.

If I compare it to cars in quebec it doesn't seem that bad, and it is repairable.

Its gonna be hard to find a rust free car (well here in quebec its almost impossible for a 93!!!)

But if I were you and had a little more than that to spend I would go down to the US to get a rust free one !!!

If I ever have to buy one again I am definately buying one in the southern US, or BC, they're in pretty good shape in BC as well.

run fast run far from that car. Do what Halo did, have me find you a California car. Have it shipped to upstate New York for $700 and then drive it across the border yourself.

underbody rust sucks!! Dont do it. you can find a clean shell for like 6-700 $stacks$. Or u can buy it and drive it and fall right through the floor while driving on the highway lol

Hey man. These guys are all spoiled with their clean cars lol. I'd say that rust isn't even that bad compared to most cars in Southern Ontario and it is at least worth $1000.

so, it's my understanding that for the price and location (Southern Ontario), It's not a bad deal? I'd assume that for 240 owners in the states the weather doesn't cause the bad rust that our weather causes. Seems like the people from Canada say it's alright and fixable...and people from the states are saying it's not worth it. @[email protected]
