Well it is a good question, with a full race cat set to full cat, and lowered boost you could pass right? I am wondering too cause there are rumors that here in quebec they are gonna start checking every year. AHH.

There shouldn't be a prob in Canada. I live in Toronto and I've never heard of any probs here. the main probs are in Cali cause they have such strict emissions.

Yay for me. I'm a CA resident. Yay to slow non-turbo 240SX's! I'd hate to resort to "illegally" smogging the car. -_-

But they are supposed to start testing here... I don't want to have my sr20 dream dashed because they deem my car unusable.. I am looking for viable alternatives or tweaks to make the sr20 legal. And don't say turbo KA. I have no interest in that whatsoever.

prob with answer is ALL states (and countries!) have diff req'd emission specs. we all know how impossible it is in Cali, but lots of areas have much easier numbers to beat. the most important factor is PROPER TUNING. use of a dyno is a big help. most good shops have some sort of tuning/scanner that will read emission output.
if u dont like the idea of FL, we dont have testing either. sorry :cheesy:
