Instead of shipping back and forth ballasts to China every other month for $30, for the REST OF YOUR LIFE (lifetime warranty here guys), wouldn't you rather have HIDs that are meant to LAST, just like their OEM counterparts? Wouldn't it be better to have HIDs that TRULY outlast your car, just like they were intended to be?


To be honest, most companies out there DON'T OFFER lifetime warranties because there is no such thing as a LIFETIME COMPANY. Once a company goes out of business, which seems to happen every 6 months, there goes your warranty. Done. So that means, your lifetime warranty is actually a "whenever we feel like closing the company" warranty. WHAT A JOKE! IIRC, bi xenon's are basically HID's, with a light shield. When you hit your hi beams, the shield pops up, reflecting the light higher. HID lo and hi beam.

1320_power: Hrm, not too familiar with 240's, what I use to check bulb sizes is Sylvania here: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/. I just put in the year of the car, make,and model, and it usually tells me. This is why when people use aftermarket lights or conversions, I'm not 100% sure if the guide is giving the right size. If I had to say, it would either be H1 or H4.

TipStylez: Bi-xenon refers to the high-beam being an HID bulb. The Hi/Lo setup uses a halogen bulb instead for high-beam.

GSXRJJordan: I think what you're referring to is the Dual-Bulb Bi-xenon. There are two types of Bi-xenon: the first is the set we sell for $35 more and that is the Telescopic Bi-xenon setup, and the second is the Dual-Bulb Bi-xenon. The Telescopic setup works by a magnet in the base of the bulb and when the high-beams are activated, the magnet slides the bulb into a different position, giving more light through a glare shield. The Dual-Bulb Bi-xenon is exactly what it's called, two HID bulbs being activated by 2 ballasts per side :aw::aw:

reccakun: No issues that have occured yet with the Xenith HIDs although I don't expect any. These are some high-quality HIDs and regardless of the fact that they are Made in China, a majority of the parts are sourced from other countries.

Edacious: Sorry we don't offer conversions, just the HID kits for the right bulb sizes for your car.

240trainee: Actually, if it lists D2S, the car already comes with HIDs (bulbs and ballasts). If you want a different temp, say 6000K, all you would need is a set of replacement bulbs such as D2S 6000K. The ballasts you already have will work the D2S bulbs.

xDRFT: What year is that? Sorry I'm not familiar with the names for the different years of 240's, but I'll catch on in a week or so :)

For the 240, I'm not 100% sure because it was awhile back and the guy was a Canadian customer so I didn't meet him up locally or talked with him much. However, all projectors, halogen or HID, come with glare shields. Judging by the color of the cutoff (kind of yellowish with some color), I would guess that they are non-HID projectors.

YoungRookie: Came in and sold out. A lot of people placed pre-orders so they took up the new ones. We are getting more in a few days though.

mangoes: Kouki S14, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you will an H4 HID kit.

swayray: Yup, these HIDs are real great. The beam pattern is respectable for an HID kit and the build quality is pretty sturdy. Also, now the Xenith H4 Bi-xenons are going to come with a unique harness... it's pretty much the first HID kit on the market that comes with it and I'm pretty excited for it.

Pretty much, only ONE side needs to be connected to the OEM harness, and it also comes with a built in relay with power distributor. The two terminals connect to the battery and it all leads to the distributor, which takes the power from the battery and one OEM connector and distributes it evenly among both headlights. Less wiring and more safety!!

One quick install tip for you guys though...I noticed the plug that connects to the stock headlight harness isn't sealed like the OEM plug is. Wrap it with electrical tape so it doesn't get wet.

Hi Sir,

The H4 Hi/Lo comes with a glare shield as well, although it is not as large as the Bi-xenon HIDs, it does help in lowering the glare in the H4 housing and other Bi-xenon headlight housings. It is not removable by twisting though. You must undo 2 clips that are holding the glare shield down. Just straighten them out and the shield should slide right off.

As for the "resin" material, most aftermarket HID kits (unless it is super SUPER cheap) use "resin" to seal and protect their ballasts.

However, we at Xenith Xenons go a step beyond that. We do not simply use any generic resin, we use mastic, which is a type of resin that is derived from the mastic tree (obviously, hehe). Mastic is a bituminous material that is usually prepared as an adhesive or sealant. It has amazing sealant abilities and is amazing with our HID kits. Our Xenith HIDs are shockproof, waterproof, weatherproof, vibration-proof, etc. In other words, these ballasts are BUILT TO LAST :rawk::rawk::rawk:

My headlights are aimed lower than normal to prevent glare from affecting other drivers, I'm thinking of doing a TSX retrofit, but I'll definately order my new bulbs from Xenith. :D

Okay, got the lights...seriously, they are awesome. I'm just having a little installation issue. If 240FaLKoN (#/f/member.php?u=29511) post up some pictures of his installation, I might have some better luck. I got it in, but am confused on wire placement...When I first had them in, the wires got stuck when the headlight motor retracted. I also had to research where to plug in the prongs on the stock harness. Other then that, looks good so far!! I'll finish the job tonight.

Haha awesome! Working in the daylight helps out a ton, even if you got the best flashlight with you, still can't compare to the sunlight :coolugh:

Hi there,

Yes that is correct, the 12000K is very similar to our Purple HIDs so we had the 12000K discontinued to avoid confusion. There is no designated temperature, it is simply labeled Purple the same way Pink and Green are just labeled the same way. I'll get some pics of them ASAP and I'll post them on this thread soon. Does anyone notice a slight flicker on these bulbs (like once or twice) for the first 5 minutes of operation? I know it's not a wiring issue, because it stops after about 5 minutes. I just want to know if it's normal, because I hear flickering HID's is a no-no....

My only wish is to keep a good rep with the people on Zilvia so I definitely won't sacrifice $140 for that. Like 240Falkon said, I am a very busy man. I just finished visiting 3 dealers in Westminster, Norwalk, and Torrance. On top of that, I have research at UC Irvine from 6-10PM tonight, as well as more orders to prepare and ship out. Everything I do, I do 110%. Sorry if you feel neglected by a lack of PMs but it's because of my schedule, not because I want to purposely rip you off. I hope you guys understand that. Also, in response to the out of stock HIDs, yes when you ordered them we had 2 sets left, but we push pretty fast and there are also kits being held for locals etc. The thing is, we always do our best to get kits out ASAP. Hi,

Try switching the wires that go into the car, maybe the polarities are swapped. Also, try placing the ballasts on different sides to see if there's any changes. It sounds like you're not getting any power.

do you have a multimeter? check for voltage at your headlight harness...if you dont...check obvious fuses, and then check for the connector on the batter to make sure its on tight....i had that come loose once and i lost power to random things...couldn't find it....then i saw that connector on the battery was loose

Wow those pics are nice, really shows the color well in your beam pattern! I appreciate the pics man. A good way to lower your headlamps is to park 20ft away from a wall and lower the light so that the cutoff is 3 inches below how high your headlights are. So if you're headlights are 30 inches off the ground, have the cutoff be 27 inches off the ground :bigok:

Yes the H4 Bi-xenon setup comes with a relay harness that connects directly to your battery and also comes with a connected relay and 2 amps.

Hi,

The 97 Jeeps Grand Cherokee shows a bulb size of 9004LL. I'm not 100% sure if that's the same as 9004 but you can double check with your dealership. For sure the 9004-series uses the same bulb for high- and low-beam though. If you wanted to keep HIDs for both high- and low-beam, you'd want the 9004 Bi-xenon setup. If you're OK with just halogens for the high-beam, then the 9004 Hi/Lo setup would be more suited for you. The Bi-xenon is $35 more and the Hi/Lo is $5 more. We have both available in 6000K ready to go! Let me know, thanks.

They flicker (like dim) once in a while, but I think that's because I didn't plug them in fully or whatever. Too lazy.

hey i feel really stupid for asking this, but in the bi xenon kit there is 2 wires coming out of the black ballast they are black and red and resemble ground wires where do i put them?

Oh and i assume that the lights are only powered by one headlight cuz i saw there was only one of the 3 prong things

can't say enough about these lights. had them for a while now~ almost 6 months, and get compliments everywhere i go. super crisp clear light. i have 6k h4 bulbs.

i think i might get some 6k 9004 bulbs for the maxima soon!
