well they are opening one here in Ontario(between ontario mills and 10fwy). went there today and talked to the owner. they will be open next thurs. they were suppose to open late july but had trouble getting their karts.

ill be there with squidd and couple other people next thurs to race.

Another track down there that is fun is Dromo 1. For drifting it's great. But for grip it takes almost 20 laps for the tires to get up to optimum operation temperature. That kinda sucked...

Went to GoKart World yesterday, that was hella fun. track surface was bad but pretty cool setup, karts were decent.. but fighting the ghettoness and other people made it fun.

i prefer dromo, just because of the fact that you get the qualifiying laps, then you're staged and race. they dont/cant do that at k1 because the karts have to be charged every 10-15 mins.
i also like the sound and smell of the gas karts...for a real good time, we should get a private session at adams kart track in riverside (adamsmotorsportspark.com). i drove there, their private groups are (i believe) $200/person($300 on the weekends) for a 2 hour private run group. their karts hit 60mph. minimum for a run group was only like 10 people...

It's all about the exit speeds. Thing I notice is everyone goes hot into the corner then scrubs off speed then put puts out.

I like to brake early, turn hard, gas through the corner.

Sept. 9th they're doing the FULL COURSE.

I went on Tues & 29.96 was my best time.
After going to this one & already having gone to the one in St Louis, I like the set-up from STL more. Much more organized but K1 is still a pretty sweet track for being just 5min away. Group session would be fun.

we finally ran track 2. more technical. i like it more. got on the best of the week list.

we go like every Thursday night like 8ish. so dont be afraid to join us on our race so you dont have to drive with traffic(noobies).

Just got back from going tonight, we did all track 2 for 3 runs and damn, it was alot of fun. Most of us were in the 24-25 time. I think my best time for the night was 25.27, but damn I'm exhausted. I need to quit smoking :P

i prefer dromo1 since it's gas karts. Electric motors have no powerband so it kind of takes the fun out of it. Dam i havnt been to dromo is so long.....

if K1 is starting to get full...im telling you guys, it's time to give Adams Kart Track (Riverside) a try! SOOOO much more fun. SOOOO much faster.
I went for a Corporate Event, they gave us 2 hours of lapping...Only stopped once to re-fuel and get some food...Their karts hit 60-70 if you're running full track on the back straight...

Adams is soo much better!! I aggree.. everyone love those kitty shit indoor tracks... try a real kart.. IT IS REAL RACING! but too bad new management doesnt do time slips anymore and they got teeny boopers working the track so it kinda sucks a lil..


Apex in Perris is the shit... fresh new track and 2 stroke karts but i would suggest calling them first if you want to arrive and race, becuase they dont usually have karts on hand so you wanna check with em first if they are doing arrive and race..
