ok well to start off im new to this site. so hey whats up. i bought this car from some guy who really did not treat it right. so far i have had to put a new radiator in, tune up, new exhaust system, the old system had a from rust that ran all the down to the tail pipe starting from the front pipe lol the resinator was just one big hole. so i get it in decent running condition drive it around virginia beach for about a week (thats where im from) and decided that it could make the run to conneticut, i got to school at barren instatute of technology, working on gettin all 8 of my master ASE. and it makes it, hardly. i get it here and i park it. wake up in the morning and start it up and there is this horrible knocking, so i think i blew my pistion rings, so i check my plugs and they are bone dry, no oil on them or anything. so then i check my oil, all out of oil. it all drained out over night, i blew out my oil pump somehow and it was leaking all over the place. so i get the fixed and the knocking stops. get going to school and about 10 minutes later it starts to sputter down the free way and dies. so i replace the distrubter cause my plugs are new and i figure im just not getting a good spark. wrong. do a bunch of test on the car and now im thinkin that i have bad fuel injectors cause my plugs are wet with fuel in cylinders 2,3,and 4. all i can say is i bought quite the project car lol

i say....
try pulling the codes off of the ECU, and see what that says. going from there would be a good idea

Are you in CT now? Im not too far from BIT. If you are let me know, ive got a crap load of extra parts lying around if you want to try a diff set of injectors or something.

wait...so you're going to school to get ASE certified? meaning you have a shop with every tool ever...stop dicking with the KA and drop in an SR, since you have all the tools, lifts, etc, you can just get a motorset and harness for a great price, even poor college students can afford, unlike me doing my swap in my backyard.

Yeah, whats the matter with you...trying to make your car mechanically sound and shit. Why waste time getting it running and enjoying it as it is, when you can spend extra time and money and let the car just sit there waiting for a swap.
get it running, enjoy the car, enjoy the ka, and swap later on if you want
