How rough can a Z32 MAf be & still be used?

I have two Z32 MAF, both screens are kinda messed up one has a nickle size hole through the screen and the other is just a little messed up.( like my cat played with it once or something, no hole but not perfect. And is there a way to repair the screen? thanx

the screen does not affect drivability or runnability.

the 2nd screen on mine isn't even there.

I think the screen is there to equalize the airflow through the unit. Makes it get a accurate measurement.
