mare minimum prolly an afc but something like an enthalpy tune would be much better and probably cost about the same in the long run

he simply meant a custom ROM chip/daughterboard soldered into the ECU so you can tune yourself. Enthalpy will do everything, but set everything relatively conservative. with a ROM tune, it's a DIY tune. obviously u will need the program and burners to write on chips (hella money), but once you get it down, you can hook others up --> profit.

Some rumors are going around enthalpy so be careful. If you plan on getting a tune and keep on upgrading, then it would be better to get a stand alone. That way you can retune it locally instead of having to send the ecu and waiting for it to get tuned and for them to send it back to you. www.ka-t.org is a good site also.

pdmracing.com has the KA-T figured out in its entirety. Before I sold my KA-T hatch, I was going to send my ECU there. Much cheaper than buying a band aid fix like an SAFC and a wideband. Waste of time. I've been there before and did it, in retrospect, the ECU tune would of yielded so much better results.
