This is a single shaft conversion for the 240sx platform, this is a complete 6060-T6 aluminum shaft that is about 1/2 the weight of the factory 2 piece. The shaft has larger,replaceable and greaseable u-joints and can handle about 650WHP. If your looking for that extra snap to DRIFTING or just want a stronger smoother shaft for your car here it is. By removing the factory 2 piece shaft and insalling a single shaft the car will feel more responsive or athletic (both steel and aluminum). Get the same shaft most professional drift teams use!

This is a steel 1 piece replacement shaft for the 240 platform, the shaft is about 5lb less than the factory 2 piece and will give the car a faster throttle response due to the fact the hanger bearing is not moving up and down. A less expensive alternative to our aluminum shaft. Please keep in mind this steel shaft will give you most of the benifits the aluminum one has with out the cost.

Do you sell vehicle specific 240sx drive shafts? What I mean by this is do you have 2 versions, one for ABS and one for NON ABS 240sx's. I believe the ABS drive shafts are 3/4" shorter in length.
I saw that you ask for ABS or not, I would just like to know in advance, I might have some friends throw down on this as well.

The driveshafts are made for your application, so you give me the specs, and you will have a shaft made for your setup. (S13/SR/Non-ABS, S14/RB/ABS ect it doesn't matter)

I spoke with Lee at the DSS and he says that the orders will be going out early-mid next week. The out of stock items should be arriving to them this week and all orders will be filled then.

Hey David i'm going to try and call you tomorrow, but i have no complaints on how you have handled this current situation. Its not your fault that The Driveshaft Shop has not gotten the yokes. It was not the last company that i ordered my driveshaft froms fault eaither. The fualt lies somewhere between The Driveshaft Shop and the company that makes the yokes.

BTW Who makes the yokes for these things? Spicer, Moog? I saw a picture of a driveshaft and it had a Spicer name on the yoke. Is that right?

Honestly, I do not know. I asked and he seemed to not want to give me that info.

Apparently this is the story... the yokes have been on order for 3 months. (there have been people waiting three months for these things) and last month, the DSS was told the yokes were shipping out. They would take like two weeks to arrive.. Ok, not a big deal. Well it has been a month, still no sign of them.

From what I understand, they told the DSS they had shipped, when in fact they had not. So, the latest word on the yokes is that they are in route to the DSS and should arrive soon.

Take that for what it's worth, but hopefully there is some light at the end of this tunnel.

Hey guys... good news finally.

I spoke with Lee a minute ago and he informed me that the yokes, are supposed to arrive tomorrow. Now, I'm not making any promises, however this is the best news I've received in about a month. So, if they arrive tomorrow (which I make no guarantee..lol) all of the shafts should ship by the end of the week.

I will post and let you guys know officially when they are in stock.
