What's the point of doing this again?

I don't get it, maybe it's because RHD cars are more or less readily available here, and that we realize that LHD is just better suited for our roads.

It does look well done though!

It doesnt really rain all that much in SoCal... Im pretty sure you can get away with putting off the wiper thing for a while. Looks pretty good. Did you just get a clip from a JDM car and swap everything over or collect all the parts over time? And thank god you got rid of that nasty ass Luis Viuton shit on the center console.

What's the point of doing ANYTHING to the car?
Low suspension is going to be more of a hassle.
Low pro tires are going to wear out quick.

Just get over it.

How is it harder to make turns now that the steering wheel is moved 3 feet to the right? I dont really get that.

Hey at least now you can go to those In n Outs that have the retarded drive thrus and youll be on the right side of the car!

Have you ever tried a left hander in a 4 way 3 lane intersection?

Notice that you have to sneak out slowsly because other cars turning left on the opposing side are blocking your view? Imagine if you were the passenger in a LHD car, you can't see fuckall. And thats where you sit with the wonderous RHD JDM tight conversion.

This one is very well done, i'm just knocking the idea in general.

Meh, a minor inconvenience I suppose. As long as youre happy with your car you can do whatever you want to it.

Its not really much different than other inconveniences like others mentioned... Lowered cars have a lot more trouble getting in and out of driveways, you have to be super careful when you park if youre rolling on baller wheels, aero just adds to the driveway problem, motor swaps = hassle from cops here in SoCal... So I guess whatever floats your boat in the end right?

The only advantage of having RHD is being able to Rodeo Drift, which is almost with the work.......... almost.

homes are a much more better investment... :D

nice RHD conversion. personally i wouldnt rock one. i see no point on being on the other side except for being closer to the person in the lane to your right.
props for clean conversion though! enjoy it

Seems to be the consensus with guys who've been in the game for a while. Buyers market :)

its not about preference, its about real, useable, functionality - period.

while its JDM-cool to have a RHD or RHD converted car, its absolutely stupid and retarded to have such here in the US. Unless your car is collector car status (not converted-car status) which sees little street use, its just not a great idea to have this type of setup for a car that is driven on public roads.

the longer i've been around this scene and see all the stuff people do, the more i realize that most of the shit people are doing is complete fan-boy, attention getting modifications that are only cool because the enigma of it being "japanese" and different. okay, so you've watched your share of option videos, drift king video, etc.. congratulations, you now know a bit about japanese culture. maybe you've even seen an anime or had sex with a japanese person. wow.. okay great.

reality is, you reach a point where you really have to start thinking for yourself and asking yourself WHY manufacturers do the things they do, and why certain countries have certain rules and standards. there is a REASON why they sit on the right and why their lights shine to the left - and there is a reason why we sit on the left and our lights shine to the right.

think about it, theres a good handfull of idiots on this forum, which probably immigrated from NICO that STILL dont understand why RHD silvia headlamps are illegal and wrong to use. let alone, the tools that dont understand why rebased HID retrofit kits are flawed and just stupid to buy.

anyway.. enough ranting. i would appreciate a buildup like this if it was done with more care. meaning, the entire car was torn down and converted to lets say, a 96-98 type-x setup. the entire chassis was completely painted. but to just cut and swap a firewall and a wiring harness, isnt my thing. i know its a lot of work, but its still not a smart conversion.

most people like myself, just do it for the fun of it. not to be a "fan boy"

i always wanted one way way before all this JDM hype. I just never got the money to do it until now.
