header question

ive searched about s14 headers on an s13 and still havent come to a straight conclusion. i may pick up aftermarket headers for my s13 for a decent price but came off an s14. there megan racing. ive heard that you need the s14 dp to fit an s14 header. i already blocked my egr and have a custom exhaust, cat-back(if this matters). anything else i need to know to make the header work with my s13. thanks!

i believe all you need is S14 header + downpipe and your good to go.

well im gonna pick up an s14 megan header and down pipe. will it work with my s13 exhaust? i have an exhaust but only cat-back.

Wrong. The DE full length headers will all swap with nothing else needed. The downpipe is replaced by the header, so there's no need for it. The EGR outlet is different between S13/S14, but you can either use the matching EGR pipe or plug it.

Unless you're using the short runner S14 style that only replaces the exhaust manifold, but those make absolutely no power at all and are pointless to install.
