Fellow members, I need your help for a look out. A friend of mine who was robbed in Mission and Cotter (Excelsior Library near Silver st.) on August 3rd. He is now in an intensive care for his left leg since his leg was ran over by the front wheel while he was dragged by the thief's car for a whole block.

Notice Driver-Side-Mirror is MISSING!! It was knocked off during the drag.

no companies, my friend was bascially generous enough to borrow his cell phone to a stranger, then that stranger walked around his car, opened the passenger side door and grabbed his bag sitting on the passenger side seat all happened in a sudden. My friend followed and jumped into his car, because my friend got his laptop in the bag, which the laptop saved his finals that he had prepared for weeks, and it was due yesterday. Part of his upper body was held on tight on the thief's shirt, but the bottom part was dragged for about 50 feet (a street block).
Please, please keep an eye out for that RED CIVIC COUPE, may god damn on him. And be careful at yourself too, don't borrow your phone out except you know that guy's attention.

I just made a myspace bulletin because I live in the bay, and I know people from Marin all the way down to LA.

That's pretty fucked up
I hope your friend gets better
Someone I knew was involved in similar situation
His civic was getting stolen, and he tried to stop the car, but the thief ended up hitting him
Shattered his leg completely and he was in cast for a long time, totally sucked
I live in California, if you come up to me asking to borrow something, immediately I don't believe you
Not cause I'm not nice or generous, but just because you have to be on guard for your own personal safety
I hope they find this thief, or may karma find him first
