lol thats like asking what a ZJ is.... with 19s you need to get as low of a offset as possible 19s are kinda big for any s chassis imo. prepare to rent a fender roller as well.

Nobuteru Taniguchi was rolling on 19 the s14 is on some volks. do you have coilovers? he is also running wider fenders in the front and possibly in the rear. try to find that article it might give you some info on what you need.

I also have the Vertex Lang kit with Vertex wide fenders up front. I guess rolling on 19's ain't too bad huh?

19s don't look that bad if you have a kit and coils i would just do it man and show us how it come out and if you don't like the outcome just sell the wheels to a Z guy.

kinda like the 18/19 staggered look more, less work/stress on the Power Steering pump as well.

but like show/said you need a big body car to fit the look right... i dont know... i guess i am just bias towards BN Sport.

yeah i keep it a rule of thumb that if the came with 16's that the power steering can handle a 18, anything more and a cooler would help keep it cool and easy to steer with the larger amount of weight in the front.

I think our resident baller cleans14 would have the best amount of experience since his previous back s14 ran large wheels (cant recall the size however at the moment)

I vote for the 18/19 combo also.

Just me.

not a fan of 19s at all.

just too big imo for a s14

I got a pair of crappy 19s when I bought mine.
needed a 25mm spacer to be flush. Now I need a drop and a roll.
Going with some better offset 17s in the future because tire for 19s are way too much.

18/19 on a s14 with the right wheels and aero will look great.

If you're looking for a tad bit more track worty I'd suggest 17/18.

JP had that split on his s14 I believe. His user name is CleanS14...

Like 18/19 Work Equips + Vertex kit = baller status?

my friend ran 19" SSR SP1's. it didnt look so big. actually it was HOTTTTT! hahah.

i think its personal preference. if you like how it looks do it.
rolling depends on the offset and size.

just make sure it doesnt rub.

oh yeah. just so you know. tires are expensive as fuckkkkkkkk.
for some decent tires my friend spent $300/each

here is that car someone spoke about

http://www.driftunit.com/photos/photoshoot/jay/slides/IMG_9578.JPG

18x9.5 +15mm w/ 225/40/18 Falken ST115
19x10.5 +26mm w/ 245/35/19 Falken ST115

pretty boner if you ask me

p.s. Taniguchi's car doesnt have rear fenders just front 12mm overfenders. and yeah they are 19's all around. 19x9.5 and 19x10.5, 225/35R19 (front) 255/35R19(rear)

yeah not really that hard to put 19's on an s14, just take your time and make sure you get the right offset and width. I've seen 20's on an s14 somewhere. That is one of the reasons s14's are so much better than s13's.
