From the Jim Wolf website:

ECU 240SX 95 MANUAL_TRANS./USA Top speed limiter removed, rpm limiter raised, fuel map/timing curve optimized for premium fuel

Or you can go directly to:
http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/customer_part_detail.asp?PartID=76

Note this is for the 1995 S14 USDM 240sx with KA24DE. This is ideal for those in California who don't want smog headaches but want a little something extra for your engine performance. My car passed smog with this, no problems. I sold my car so have no need for it anymore.

Plug and play, no other mods required.

I used it with stock airbox/MAF and stock injectors and it worked perfectly. I can't say for certain what other specs/parts would work.

$320 picked up locally in San Francisco Bay Area (Fremont).

damn this thing is still here. might help if u give people an idea about how much more hp you gain with the ecu.

Hmm..tough without having done a before/after dyno test. The rev limiter is removed for sure..so no fuel cutoff at the redline, for those time when you might dip past 6500-7000 RPM. I'd estimate a 3 to 5 HP gain with no other modifications.

I could only give driving impressions from a few private drift events at Buttonwillow and a couple at Irwindale. The exhaust note was a tad deeper and smoother. Acceleration was less rough and power delivery was smoother and more linear in general.

As a novice to pre-intermediate drifter, I would sometimes forget to downshift before turn-in, and I would try to initiate off the straightaway in third, or even in fourth :P Anyway, I felt more power and torque available to me when I tried to e-brake or clutch kick in third, and could pull off the drift whereas before I couldn't get the rear to break loose without the ECU.

Hope that helps.

Maybe I should hang on to this for if I ever get another S14? Nobody is interested in a smog-legal engine upgrade?

Last try, I'll take $200 firm picked up for the ECU.
