Post what year you've got, and whether you have a HUD if it's an S13. I'll check the wiring diagrams. On most years, the stock ECU isn't connected to the fuel gauge at all. Do all your other gauges work?

Like Matt said, all the stuff on the cluster except Tach are seperate from the ECU. So megasquirt wasnt the cause it was either it failed or YOU.
It doesnt matter if its analog or HUD I've used both and they all worked fine.

Megasquirt will not cause your gas guage to break... :loco:
Sounds like a wiring issue seperate from the ECU or your sender is busted.

try assignng a specific com port to the USB in your computer settings I had that issue with my Haltech initially because the USB was COM 27 on my system and the Haltech can only support single digit COM assignments.

On this model, the fuel gauge just wires straight to the sending unit. Check to see if you're getting a voltage at the sending unit from the gauge.
You won't get a spark until the Megasquirt gets an RPM signal. Does the Megasquirt work on a Stim?

It's an extra diagnostic board. Without it, the first thing to check is if it's getting a signal in at pin 24 that is going from 0 to 12 volts and back again as the distributor turns.
