Injen CAI for SOHC s13

So if I get this part, am I gonna need to by the Injen SOHC short ram intake as well or can I get another brand after market intake..if there is one? Just wondering, or is there any other option...O and I want to go CAI for my SOHC...I don't just want Short ram, or an after market..I specifically want to go CAI, and I also don't want to fabricate shit...even though it would be much cheaper, id rather not...thanks

^ i really wouldn't use it with another intake system because it wasn't developed for it....but i would think it would work with any other after market intake that follows the same path as the injen one which is just the stock intake made into aluminum.

depends on the short ram you're thinking of getting. most knock offs are usually smaller in diameter. keep that in mind. find out measurements and you should be fine.

well I guess Injen sales a short ram intake for the SOHC and also a regular intake..from the link can anyone help me figure out which one it would be..thanks

I'm not really understanding your question, but if you want to know if you can use the Injen CAI extension with another intake, well, maybe it will work, waybe it won't. Depends on on whther the diameters are the same and where or not the intakes end at exactly the same place. I'd just go with the Injen intake though. They are nice units, I had one on my sohc about 8 years ago (they only had the short-ram at that time). But look around some more, I only paid $180, you can probably get a better deal.

I just checked Enjuku Racing (that's where I got mine back in the day), they have the short-ram for $200 and the CAI extension for $120.

good luck finding a cheaper sohc short ram intake, theres hardly anyone else who makes em besides injen.
